Eventifies was born in Eindhoven from a simple, shared frustration: great events everywhere, but nobody to go with. We interviewed 30+ students and heard the same story — and decided to fix it.
The moment we knew
this mattered.
In over 30 interviews with students at TU/e and Fontys, we heard the same story: people wanting to go out, but staying home because they had nobody to go with. The problem was especially sharp for international students — new to the city, small social circle, high desire to connect.
Event organizers like Louai (Kairo Nights) and Javier (Comoencasa) confirmed the other side: attendance drops when potential attendees can't find companions. We saw an opportunity to fix both sides of the problem at once.

Kairo Nights and Comoencasa confirm organizer demand. Business plan built.
